Kirsty Bell

CEO & Owner >

Kirsty Bell

The driving force behind Goldfinch, Kirsty is that rarity of being both a qualified lawyer and accountant. Originally setting out in law, she chose the accountancy profession and became a Chartered Tax Adviser and Strategic Tax Partner for the leading firm of Baker Tilly before she was 30. Passionate about independent film, aware of the financial difficulties that producers face, in 2014, she decided to make a difference by founding Goldfinch Entertainment. Her aim was to show that funding in an area notoriously devoid of funding was achievable, that independent filmmakers could realise their ambitions. Since then, Kirsty has made possible the funding for hundreds of film and TV projects and has assisted numerous first-time directors in launching their careers.
